The fèis offers young people the opportunity to learn a new instrument and develop their musical skills as well as learning more about Gaelic language and culture. Throughout the day participants will take part in two instrumental workshops plus Gaelic language workshops.
There will also be the opportunity for participants and the public to attend the tutors ceilidh on Saturday evening and there will be a free concert by participants for families to attend on Sunday 25th March 2012 from 3pm.
Those children wishing to attend the Saturday night concert may remain in the premises where they will be looked after by fèis staff.
Takeaway food will be provided for a cost of £5.

Ability Guidelines
- Complete Beginner: No experience (or minimal)
- Beginner: 6 months / grade 1
- Intermediate: Grade 2 – 4
- Advanced: Grade 4+
Saturday Classes are for Complete Beginner to Intermediate levels. Complete Beginners can hire instruments to get them started.
Advanced level musicians can attend our monthly workshops on Sundays and also the weekly Trad Band at The Tolbooth on Monday evenings. If you are interested in coming along then contact John MacNeil at feisfhoirt@aol.com
.Participant Guidelines
- All children and young people must be dropped off and collected by a parent and guardian.
- At no time will any participants be allowed to leave the premises during the fèis.
- Children and young people attending the ceilidh must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- All participants must bring a packed lunch on both days as no lunch will be provided.
- All participants are expected to attend all workshops during the two day fèis.
- Instruments provided during the event must be looked after and treated with care any loss or damage will be invoiced to parents and carers.
- Good behavior is expected from all participants throughout the fèis.
